About CRX
Built because medication management deserves better.
What CRX Is
CRX is an iOS app for tracking medications — schedules, reminders, refills, symptoms — and for safely sharing that picture with the people who help you. It's built for real people managing real regimens: older adults, anyone living with a chronic condition, and the caregivers supporting them.
Our Mission
CRX was built with a simple belief: medication management should be calm, clear, and private.
Most medication apps are either too complex, built for clinicians instead of patients, or quietly monetize your health data. CRX aims to be the one that makes sense for real people — reliability over novelty, clarity over clutter.
Who CRX is For
Eleanor, 72
Managing six daily medications for hypertension, diabetes, and arthritis. She needs large text, clear labels, and VoiceOver support. CRX was designed with Eleanor in mind first.
Marcus, 45
A caregiver helping his mother stay on schedule from across town. He needs to see her doses, get an alert when one is missed, and help log — with her consent, at the permission level she chooses.
Sarah, 31
Managing a complex regimen for a chronic condition. She wants interaction checking, symptom tracking, and a privacy-first app that doesn't sell her health data.
Design Principles
- Calm over urgency: No alarming colors or anxious UI. Medication management is already stressful enough.
- Accessibility first: Not an afterthought — a core requirement from the first line of code.
- Privacy by design: No ads, no tracking, no selling data. Sharing happens only with your consent, and you can delete your account and data in the app at any time.
- Clarity always: Every label, every action, every screen should be unambiguous.
- Honest about limits: CRX is a tool, not a doctor. It says so, plainly, wherever it matters.
Who Builds CRX
CRX is designed and built by Wesley Matlock at Insoc, an independent software studio. Being small is a feature: there's no growth team looking for ways to monetize your data — just a product that has to earn its place by being genuinely useful.
