These terms are consistent with the in-app terms summary (version 2026.07.02) that users review and accept inside CRX. The documents you accept in the app govern your use of CRX; this page is the hosted, expanded version.

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using CRX, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, and you are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.

Medical Disclaimer

CRX is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. CRX is for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

  • Consult your doctor. Always seek the advice of your physician, pharmacist, or other qualified health provider with any questions regarding medications or medical conditions. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something in CRX.
  • Emergencies. In a medical emergency, call 911 (or your local emergency number) immediately. For suspected poisoning or overdose in the US, call Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222. Do not rely on CRX for emergency medical decisions.
  • Reminders may fail. Notification delivery is controlled by your device and is not guaranteed. Do not rely on CRX as your only reminder for critical medications.
  • Information may be incomplete. Drug information and interaction checks — including AI-generated safety analysis — may not catch every interaction or reflect the latest data. The absence of a warning does not mean a medication or combination is safe for you.

Use of the App

CRX is provided for personal, non-commercial use. You agree to use CRX only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the app for anything other than personal medication management and authorized caregiving
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or redistribute the app
  • Attempt to access another user's data without their authorization
  • Use the app in any way that violates applicable laws

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter into the app. CRX is not liable for medication errors resulting from incorrect data entry, missed or delayed notifications, or incomplete drug information.

Caregiver Sharing

CRX lets you share your medication information with caregivers you explicitly approve. If you use caregiver sharing:

  • Only invite people you trust. You control the permission level each caregiver receives and can revoke access at any time in Settings.
  • If you act as a caregiver, you agree to use your access only as the patient has authorized, only for their care, and to respect their privacy.
  • Caregiver actions are recorded in an audit log visible to the patient.

CRX Plus Subscription

CRX offers an optional auto-renewing subscription, CRX Plus, which unlocks premium caregiver-sharing features.

  • Pricing: $4.99 per month or $39.99 per year (prices may vary by region; the App Store shows the exact price before you subscribe).
  • Free trial: new subscribers get a 1-week free trial. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, the subscription begins and you are charged.
  • Billing: payment is charged to your Apple ID through the App Store. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Managing and canceling: manage or cancel anytime in your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
  • Refunds: purchases are handled by Apple; refund requests go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

The core medication-tracking features of CRX do not require a subscription.

Drug Interaction Information

Drug interaction and safety information in CRX, including AI-generated analysis, is provided for informational purposes only. It may not be complete and must not be used as the sole basis for medication decisions. Always consult your pharmacist or physician regarding drug interactions.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CRX is provided "as is" and Insoc shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, CRX — including damages arising from missed or delayed notifications, data entry errors, sync failures, or incomplete drug information. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Termination

You can stop using CRX at any time and delete your account in the app. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Insoc is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where the law of your place of residence necessarily applies.

Changes to These Terms

We may modify these terms. When we make a material change, we will notify you in the app and ask you to review and accept the updated terms before continuing to use CRX, and we will update this page.
