Frequently Asked Questions
Is CRX available now?
CRX is coming soon to the App Store. Check back here, or email us to be notified when it launches.
My reminders aren't showing up. What should I check?
First, make sure notifications are allowed: open iOS Settings → Notifications → CRX and confirm Allow Notifications is on. Also check that Focus or Do Not Disturb isn't silencing alerts, and that the medication has a schedule set in the app. Notification delivery is ultimately controlled by iOS and is not guaranteed — please don't rely on CRX as your only reminder for critical medications.
How do I connect with a caregiver?
Sharing is always started and approved by the patient. A patient can invite a caregiver with a 6-digit code or QR code (or a text-message invite), and a caregiver can request access, which the patient must approve. The patient chooses the caregiver's permission level and can revoke access at any time in Settings. Premium caregiver features are part of the CRX Plus subscription.
How do I manage or cancel my CRX Plus subscription?
CRX Plus is billed through your Apple ID. To manage or cancel, open your device's Settings → your name → Subscriptions → CRX. Canceling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the paid period. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
I subscribed before — how do I restore my purchase?
Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used to subscribe, then use the Restore Purchases button on the subscription screen in the app. If it still doesn't appear, email us.
How do I delete my account and data?
In the app, go to Profile → Settings and choose account deletion. This removes your data from our servers. If you have an active subscription, cancel it separately in your Apple ID subscription settings — deleting your account does not cancel Apple billing.
Can I export my data?
Yes. CRX can generate a medication summary PDF for doctor visits (including your medications, schedules, safety analysis, and adherence), and export your dose history as CSV or PDF from the app.
Is my health data private?
Your data is used only to run the app for you. We don't sell it, show ads, or track you across other apps. Caregivers see your information only after you approve them. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Does CRX work offline?
Yes. Your medications, schedules, and history are stored on your device, so you can view and log doses without a connection. Changes sync automatically when you're back online. Some features — like medication search and cloud AI safety checks — need a connection.
What iOS version does CRX require?
CRX requires iOS 26 or later. On-device AI features additionally require Apple Intelligence to be available and enabled.
What languages does CRX support?
English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, and Portuguese (Brazil).
Does CRX support VoiceOver?
Yes. CRX is built with accessibility as a core requirement, including VoiceOver support, Dynamic Type, and large touch targets.
